i have some wonderful silk ties that would lend themselves well to the opportunity.

speaking of silk ties, i need you to dress up and accompany me somewhere. the sea snakes are throwing a soiree and it would be rude of me to turn down their invitation. not to mention they might try to chop off my head if i do.

you'd rather use silk instead of your hands? i'm not surprised.

tell me when this party is, and i'll make arrangements. i'm fond of your head where it is, so i'd rather avoid any chances you might have of losing it.

only the best silks for you. i had some imported from my country and this is as good of a use as any.

don't make any rash decisions, but they're throwing it at the bleeder den. the swanky one. there are quite a few addicts in the sea snakes.

i'm sure you could find better uses for something as nice as that.

i do have some self-control, you know. i promise to be on my best behavior and not embarrass you.

maybe a blindfold or something to tie your hands with.

you have more self-control than i'd prefer. i think causing a scene would keep things interesting.

tie my hands if you must, but i want to see your face.

causing a scene would draw too much attention to me, and i want to avoid that. anyway, it's a party. i'm sure there are plenty of things to keep you occupied there.

well, i can hardly blame you.

you'll have at least a little attention. you're my date, after all, and i don't like to feel as if people aren't looking at me. but they do have a habit of bringing live snakes to the party, so i'll have some competition.

not so much that i can't control the situation. you know that.

it's a party, larus. you don't have to control everything. besides, i'll hear if anything is about to go wrong.

no. but it's easier to worry about what i'm going to wear than everything else.

i don't WANT to control everything, but there are circumstances i would rather avoid. it doesn't mean i'm not going to have a good time.

you look good no matter what you wear. don't worry too much.

if you don't want to see my jacket, then you might want to consider it. [ But he still might just wear his jacket anyway. ]

i'm fond of the jacket. but i'm also interested in dressing you up. do you have an aversion to silver or is that just the wolves?

you know you could dress me up any time. [ Or undress him. ]

i can handle silver, but i don't need to wear it... unless it's a new style i know nothing about it.

no one NEEDS to wear silver but i think it would look lovely against your skin.

i think you already know the answer to that. but i can say it if you prefer to hear it.

if you have it, i'll wear it. nothing excessive though.

i always prefer to hear it from you, since i don't know what you're really thinking. which is still such a drag, you know, but in a way strangely exhilarating.

of course you will. and i would only ever consider the most tasteful of looks for you.

i don't give anything freely. the only way you're going to have something from me is with my permission, but there are always exceptions to that rule.

i look forward to it. if you need anything, just say so.

i don't need a reminder. maybe i'm saving it for a special occasion to surprise you.

what does my opinion matter? it might be too much for the company we'll have, but wear it if you want to.

don't be ridiculous. your opinion matters quite a bit to me. of course, your opinion will change when i wear it because i'll look stunning, but it still matters.
